%X This data set collates and collects the test data of drilling rig metal materials during the implementation of the project (January 2017 to December 2018), including sample number, type, specification, chemical composition%, tensile test, impact energy, hardness and other field data. A total of 52. 25 physical and chemical property test data of drilling rig structural parts steel, traveling block hook, pin shaft and other metal materials and welding evaluation obtained by indoor test method in Jingzhou, Hubei Province. The low-temperature impact energy of the sample is tested at - 50 ℃, and the experimental data results show that the selected metal materials meet the requirements of low-temperature use at - 50 ℃
