Observation contents include: 1) Snow parameter observation. The observation variables include: snow depth (ruler), layered snow depth temperature (needle thermometer), snow particle size (hand-held microscope) and synchronous snow surface and snow soil interface temperature during satellite transit (hand-held infrared thermometer). The observation is carried out in quadrats bg-a, bg-e, bg-f and bg-h. 2) The observed variables include snow density, snow complex dielectric constant, snow volume water content, snow weight water content, etc. The observation was carried out in sample plots bg-a, bg-e and bg-h. in addition, 25 hours of continuous fixed-point observation was carried out at the hydrometeorological observation station in Binggou cold area. 3) Snow spectral observation (measured by ASD spectrometer of Xinjiang Meteorological Bureau). See GPS record file for the location of observation points. 4) Snow albedo observation (total radiometer). This data set includes two folders: original data and preprocessed data.
